Every day thousands of people play with Anish Kapoor’s Cloud Gate in Chicago’s Millennium Park. Affectionately nicknamed “the bean” for obvious reasons, the immense mirrored sculpture is made up of 168 stainless steel plates welded together and placed on the ground.
